Il était une fois un fermier qui traversait ses champs en hiver. Ses yeux sont tombés sur un serpent qui se rétrécissait dans le froid.
Le fermier savait que le serpent est une créature très dangereuse, mais il l’a quand même ramassé et l’a gardé dans son panier.
Ensuite, il a mis de l’herbe et des feuilles au-dessus du serpent pour qu’il se sente au chaud et qu’il ne meure pas de froid.
Le serpent est guéri et il est sorti du panier. Et il a mordu le fermier qui l’avait tant aidé.
Le fermier est mort instantanément de son poison. Et avant de rendre son dernier souffle, il a dit : “Rappelez-vous toujours ceci, n’ayez jamais pitié d’une une personne méchante”.

English:
Once upon a time there was a farmer who was walking in his fields in winter. His eyes fell upon a snake that was shriveling up from the cold.
The farmer knew that the snake was a very dangerous creature, but he picked it up anyway and kept it in his basket.
He then put some grass and leaves on the snake so that it would warm up and not die of cold.
The snake warmed up and came out of the basket. And it bit the farmer who had helped it so much.
The farmer died instantly from his poison. And before he breathed his last, he said: "Always remember this, never have pity on a wicked person."
