This festival is held from February 14 to March 4 in Massena Square, Nice city center. During the 2 weeks of the festival, visitors will be immersed in the vibrant, passionate, and colorful street culture space. And this festival must end one day early before the Vegetarian Festival is held.
Events during the Nice Carnival
There are 3 important events during the Nice Carnival that you cannot miss: the Corso carnival, the Battle of Flowers and the Light Parade.
The Corso Carnival
The festival is divided into themes by year, a large-scale parade with the participation of countless costume artists, creating an emotional atmosphere that satisfies visitors' eyes

The Battle of Flowers
The theme idea of the battle of flowers is that on horse-drawn carriages on the street, there are 2 or 3 young women, wearing eye-catching outfits, throwing thousands of beautiful flowers to the surrounding audience.
The Light Parade
Finally, the Nice Carnival ends in a grand light party, with a parade of horse-drawn carriages all shimmering with light. Artists will dress up as many different characters to impress the audience.
